The Forum will invite the participation of recipients of our home-grown Shaw Prize. The Shaw Prize was established in 2002 to recognise advances and outstanding contributions in three disciplines, namely, Astronomy, Life Science and Medicine, and Mathematical Sciences. In just two decades, the Shaw Prize has become a world-renowned award for the highest achievements in mankind. Indeed, among over 100 Shaw Laureates since 2004, many of them have subsequently been awarded other world-renowned international awards, including 16 Nobel Prize awardees, 10 Lasker Awards winners, 7 Fields Medallists and 4 Abel Prize recipients.
